In 1996, Pizza Rustica opened its doors on the corner of 9th Street and Washington in Miami Beach, Florida. Customers were lured in by the aroma of fresh pizzas baking. They had never seen these Roman-style rectangular pans of pizza with so many unique quality toppings. Word began to spread among locals and tourists alike that Pizza Rustica was the place where everyone loved to come and enjoy fast and affordable handcrafted pizza. Walk in today and it’s easy to see that everyone feels welcomed at Pizza Rustica. Some customers grab a slice on the run while others stay to enjoy Pizza Rustica’s high-energy vibe and colorful crowd. Pizza Rustica is chef driven and locally owned. We respect our customers and don’t ask them to break their budget for high quality pizza. HANDCRAFTED ROMAN PIZZA FOR ALL
Our fresh Roman style pizza is handcrafted throughout the day. We make the dough and sauce from scratch and we use only the highest quality flour and San Marzano tomatoes. Our handcrafted pizza is topped with healthy and unique ingredients such as fresh, seasonal organic produce, 100% natural chicken breast and assorted garden herbs. We offer over 35 varieties of pizza, from salad pizza to mega meat pizza. The best part, our pizza it is a great value. Delicious high-quality pizza affordable to all.
Why does the pizza at Pizza Rustica taste so good?
• We do not have any freezers in our pizzerias.
• We use fresh produce, sourced daily, including fresh peppers, onions, arugula, tomatoes, eggplant and mushrooms to name a few. Meat toppings are always fresh, such as our 100% boneless organic chicken breast, roasted in house daily.
• We use Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the healthiest of all olive oils.
• Our pizza is made with 100% whole milk cheese that has exceeded the government’s highest standards, uncompromising quality and of course no additives, fillers or preservatives.
• No trans fats in our recipes.
• Highest quality tomato sauce with no added citric acid, chemicals or sugar.
• We use only fresh herbs, such as oregano, thyme and rosemary.
Founder
Pino Piroso, creator and owner of Pizza Rustica, has more than 30 years of experience in the restaurant business. Piroso began to develop his passion for food at an early age, watching his mother in the kitchen creating authentic Italian dishes. When Pino first moved to Miami Beach, he had a vision to open a restaurant serving top quality Roman style pizza made with high quality ingredients. He also wanted the pizza to be enjoyed by everyone. Since 1996, Piroso has put his heart and soul into building Pizza Rustica in that vision. Piroso continues to have a hands-on approach at the restaurant, working seven days a week to improve the Rustica experience and maintain his high standards.
